Jason Boland and the Stragglers...A Country Music Band breathing new life back into country music and reviving lost fans along the way.
Growing
up in the south and being raised on large doses of country music, led
me to gravitate away from it as soon as I could as an adult. Mostly, I
wanted to run from the words, story lines, and showmanship that had
become so predictable to me and, worse, seemingly interchangeable withinmuch country music. With
the promise of staying "only for an hour," on a dismal, rainy Tuesday
night, I reluctantly dragged myself and a friend-whose interest in
country music was about as exuberant as mine-over to check out |

It’s that time of the year again— time to travel (hopefully without too many crazy traffic/flight delays), watch the Macy’s Parade with the fam, cook, eat (& later pass out in a food coma while watching football, of course), &/or wake up ridiculously early to wait in line for Black Friday deals. But most importantly, it’s time to give thanks for the many blessings bestowed on us throughout the year. If you’re not traveling far & want to go out on Thanksgiving Eve, or not traveling at all this year, we have plenty of ideas to keep you busy and to make you feel at home in ATL! |
