Everyone knows that Johnny will ask for a new bike this
holiday season and Suzy will beg for a talking doll. But,what does Santa want? “My job on December 24
would be so much easier if people would plan ahead and have
reindeer-resistant roofing on their homes,” says Santa Claus. “I’d

company provides a free or low-cost energy audit, which will identify
changes you

According to the National Aging in Place Council, an
overwhelming majority of Americans want to remain in their homes for as
long as possible. But, while people may wish to stay in their homes
longer, most houses were not built to adapt to our changing needs as we
age. “The
good news is that there are many simple ways to make a home more
functional for your needs as you age, starting with the doors,” says
Shannon Sims, marketing communications manager for Therma-Tru Corp.
“Making life easier for aging adults can be as simple as choosing
low-maintenance entry doors with easy-to-use levers instead of
doorknobs. |
