Program puts a smile on thousands of children’s faces and has collected more than 100,000 bikes since the program’s inception ATLANTA, GA (December 23, 2011) – The“Rick Case Bikes for Kids”program, celebrating its30 anniversarythis
year, has provided thousands of needy children with a bicycle during
the holidays since 1982, and the 2011 holiday season is no different.
The program collected bikes this 2011 holiday season and distributed
through area Boys & Girls Clubs as well as other charity
organizations. |

Metro-Atlanta Gift Company Donates $20,000 to Aid Organization’s Holiday Gift-Giving Initiative

Latest Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Report On Toy Safety Indicates 33% Increase In Toy Related Deaths In Past Year — According to the latest Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
report on Toy Safety, there have been 17 toy related deaths of children
younger than 15 this past year. This number marks a 33% increase, or 5
more deaths than the previous year. The Keenan’s
Kids Foundation, an organization dedicated to child safety for over 18
years, has identified 10 potentially hazardous toys that represent a
variety of dangers many parents may be unaware of in the hopes that
parents will learn what general types of toys to avoid this holiday
season. |
