In the center of little
five points you can find Wish, Atlanta’s premier boutique for streetwear
clothing and shoes. Historic in its establishment, the store has been open for
over 25 years, but it was a dramatic redesign in 2006 that marked the advent of
the stores evolution into a purveyor of some of streetwears’ most sought after
labels and an iconic destination. Lauren Amos, a Georgia
native and the owner and creative force behind Wish, wanted the store, which formally housed a
public library, to come alive in an exciting mix of art, fashion and visual
stimulation. |

World
AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1 each year around the world. It has
become one of the most recognized international health days and is a
key opportunity to raise awareness, to commemorate those who have passed
on, and to celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment
and prevention services.
This
year the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) will commemorate World AIDS
Day by staying open for 24 hours (from 12:00am to 11:59pm on December
1).
During that time period, visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to take in two AIDS-related exhibitions, |
