shows like So You Think You Can Dance™ and Dancing with the Stars™,
local Atlanta non-profit, The Eating Disorders Information Network and
Dance 101 are joining forces again for the 2011 Celebrity Dance
Challenge™. The event is Saturday, Dec. 3 from 7 – 10 p.m.and tickets are on sale now: http://www.woodruffcentertickets.org.
Similar
to the shows, local Atlanta celebrities will partner with Dance 101
teachers and compete by dancing for votes! The number of fan votes
received determines winners. |

Tickets on Sale Now! The Garden Goes High-Tech “Green” This Winter
The Atlanta Botanical Garden offers a new way to enjoy the winter withGarden Lights, Holiday Nights.
Not a typical light show, this enchanting intown experience is the
largest light show in the country to showcase not only the beauty of a
landscape but also nearly 1 million energy-efficient lights.
The
show, set for November 19-January 7, will feature almost exclusively
LED lights, or special light-emitting diodes. Continuing the Garden’s
commitment to environmental sustainability, the show was designed
collaboratively by Dallas-based studioOutside with support from CD+M
Lighting and Design Group of Atlanta. |

 Tickets to the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s newest special exhibition, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, go on sale November 1. This inaugural display featuring nearly 1 million lights runs November 19-January 7.
Tickets prices are $18.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 3-12. Garden
members may purchase discount-priced tickets for $14.95 adults, $9.95
children 3-12. Special pre-sale discount tickets are available to Garden
members until November 9.
