New Gay Tour Operator Caters to Evolving LGBT Segment In 1986, the first all-gay cruise set sail out of New Orleans with
750 guests thanks to Kevin Mossier, founder of RSVP Vacations. Because
of the social climate of the time, during the height of the AIDS
epidemic and socialized homophobia, Mossier saw a need to create a safe
place for gays and lesbians to vacation. According
to Charlie Rounds, who was one of Minneapolis-based RSVP’s early
employees and later became part owner, the gay and lesbian travel market
has evolved significantly since the 1980s. |

Wendy, a Masters Divinity Std and Blue Dolphins Employee: Posted on Thursday, November 17, 2011 11:40 PM
My 4 girlfriends hit the beach for a week of relaxation & fun. Of the many experiences we shared, our Blue Dolphin Tour marked our trips highlight.
Our captain Gordon entertained us with humorous stories of years on the water around Shell Island. While these tales entertained all of us, he beamed when relaying stories of Scar, a local dolphin he named due to a small black scar on his dorsal fin. Gordon told us about Scar as a baby dolphin (young of year) and the years when Scar's mom pursued the waters with him. |

Beginning in mid-November, colder weather means it’s time to
welcome trout, and trout fishing, to Callaway Gardens.
Select lakes again will be stocked with trout ranging
from 14 inches to trophy size of more than 24 inches, with some smaller ones
included for variety.
“Callaway Gardens is a great location for fly fishers who normally
travel North to trout fish,” said Mike Wall, fishing operations manager
at Callaway. “You can stay closer to home and, more importantly,
spend more time fishing. |
